Light, movable fabrics, but also processed leather and shoes made by her own hand. The first solo show by Pauline van Dongen took place at the beginning of this evening in a cosy building at the Oudezijds Voorburgwal at the very heart of Amsterdam
The show kicks off with a film titled Stereopsis. The idea behind the film is that eyes, both human and animal, are in different positions on the head. Because of this every animal and every person sees a certain image in a different way. This results in a film that shows particular movement. Stereopsis is also a preview of the womanswear collection that is shown directly after the film has ended.
